Responsibilities
- Reads reports of the park and always familiar with park information
- Arranging tours, special lectures, events to the visitors who come to the park
- Lectures and shows short films to give visitors a better outline of how the park works and information concerning the historical surroundings.
- Communicates with the local community and plants new saplings during some special occasions
- Provides protection to the visitors by setting some rules and guidelines
- Ensures law enforcement and maintains the park's peace.
- Maintains the records of the park and updates the statistics about the resources of the park.
- Answers the questions raised by the visitors during their visits.
- Protects the park's properties from the poachers, vandals and the smugglers
- Supervises the environment and ensures that it is free from pollution by periodically examining the lake water
- Authorize to arrest and forcibly remove those who defy park laws
- Acts as a medic during accidents by giving first aids to the visitors
Bachelor's degree in an environmental or wildlife field, certification courses on the medical and safety fields are required for a park ranger job. Some of the other fields are Anthropology, Archaeology, Biology, Business, Countryside Management, Geography, Museum Studies, Natural or Earth Sciences and Natural Resource Management. Certifications in special summer camps are more addable. At least three years of experience in parks and conservation field. Part-time or seasonal work at national or state parks is an important stepping stone to an entry-level park ranger position.

- Outdoor skills like rock climbing, swimming, hiking, and canoeing
- Better presentation skills
- Capable of thinking about events that covers more visitors
- Knowledge of new trends in presenting and entertaining the visitors
- Capable of conducting small competitions for school kids to give some awareness about pollution and environment.
- Capable of teaching the staffs about the new improvements about the park and its administration.
- Be confidence and rigid at all conditions and face the critical conditions like forest fire, floods, etc
