As a Security Project Manager, you will administer the security contract and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. This position will act as the G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. liaison with client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. Role Responsibility: Specific Duties and Essential Functions Provide supervision to Site Supervisors, and security officers with no on-site supervision, on a 24-hour basis Oversee the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met Maintain overtime to a preset requirement designated by G4S USA Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting and auditing each facility assigned to his/her area Participate and make recommendations in selection and placement of security personnel to contracts in his/her area. Participate and make recommendations in progressive discipline and conduct performance appraisals of the same Evaluate key performance indicators and ensure compliance Conduct and/or oversee all training for security personnel reporting to the area/branch office (e.g., state licensing, contract specific, annual refresher courses) Determine and prepare appropriate training programs specific to local customer needs and ensure proper inclusion in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Competency Management function and other training records Demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite of products The Ideal Candidate: Education, Licenses and Certifications Required Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing Type and Length of Specific Experience Required Minimum of 3 years of security project manager or mid-level supervisory (Lieutenant or above) law enforcement experience Must have one or more of the following Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies A minimum of 8 or more years of active service in any military branch Associates degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service Skills Required Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Effective oral and written communication skills Active listening skills Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately Attention to detail Other Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment). Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military Physical Requirements and Environment Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat Major activity: Managing, supervising, walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
