Serves as the Range Safety Officer and is responsible for coordinating the daily range schedule and general maintenance of the ranges.
Coordinate daily range usage.
Ensures check in/out procedures are followed by all customers.
De-conflict range schedule when needed.
Inspects ranges for proper upkeep and repair. Ensures deficiencies are corrected.
Ensures ranges are in proper working condition and a supply of targets and props are available.
Perform general range maintenance when repairs are needed.
Maintains familiarity with OSHA regulations. Enforces general safety standards in accordance with Company standards.
Maintains maintenance records and performs preventive maintenance tasks.
Supervises minor construction projects on ranges.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree with seven years of related experience preferred. Supervisory experience required.
Prior US Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite required.
Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions is required, including heat, cold and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by established Company Safety standards.
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 80 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday. Requires constant use of hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
