. As a Data Center Site Trainer you will oversee all training of security personnel at his/her assigned data center. The Site Trainer will ensure that all mandated on-the-job training and advanced security training is implemented in an effective and timely manner.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions
Supervise security officer training program; develop, prepare, and teach appropriate training programs; conduct and/or oversee all training for security personnel at assigned data center; data entry; filing and records maintenance; ensure training compliance
Identify training needs; develop and/or customize training courses, content and materials; oversee and deliver training; evaluate effectiveness; and make adjustments as necessary to improve training and outcomes
Able to deliver appropriate course content and motivate trainees by implementing effective training methodologies in both classroom and practical/hands-on situations, use a variety of methodologies, techniques, and learning tools to maximize training effectiveness
Mentor and supervise Compliance Officers in all matters related to security officer training
Monitor and measure effectiveness of all training programs, prepare compliance reports and identify areas for improvement associated with contract-specific policies, practices, and procedures
Provide regular reports to management regarding training initiatives, scheduling and effectiveness of employee and organizational development initiatives
Develop and implement method of measuring the effectiveness of training programs
The Ideal Candidate:
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
Ability to meet and maintain any licenses or certifications required by the state
Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, education or other related major
Documented coursework and/or training in the delivery of adult educational material
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
Minimum of two years of experience delivering traditional classroom instruction, computer-based training, and/or on-the job training
Work history must indicate a proficiency in training methodologies, curriculum development, and course design
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
Attention to detail
Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Must be proficient at utilizing current computer-based training technology and related equipment in the delivery of on-the-job training and advanced security training programs
Must be willing to work across shifts as needed to facilitate training needs
Must be willing and able to travel on occasion and on short notice
Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
Physical Requirements and Environment
Office; minimal to no work in extreme temperatures is expected
Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing
Physical efforts to carry out job duties:
Standing, walking, sitting, with minimal to no stooping or kneeling
