Profile

You will serve as a LEAD POLICE OFFICER in the Provost Marshal/Marine Corps Police Dept of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the planning and directing of watch activities, preparing absentee reports and watch schedules/lists; deploying police officers on motorized, bicycle, or walking patrols; directing police officers at fixed posts; controlling vehicle and personnel access to the installation; instructing field training officers; monitoring and maintaining criminal activity statistics; receiving reports, maintaining desk journals and ensuring accuracy of paperwork submitted; providing guidance/direction regarding the Law Enforcement Field Training Officer Program for monitoring and mentoring new officers; coordinating, and providing technical advice and guidance to other Marine Corps Law Enforcement watch personnel; leading others, ensuring daily USMC LE activities are completed in a timely manner; identifying, obtaining, and preparing documentation needed to brief command on crucial matters; presenting policy and procedures both orally and written to members of the team; understanding and applying in depth knowledge of probable cause requirements; conducting preliminary and non-criminal investigations; acting promptly, decisively and judiciously upon observing a violation or investigating a complaint.
